The immigrants have gone to Chile first. The immigrrants who got there first found jobs and worked effortlessly. Then, large groups of immagrants have gone to the country. It caused unemployment. On the other hand, the shutdowns/the bans during the pandemic made it worse.

As a result, a high number of immigrrants could no longer make a living. The crimes of theft and plunder were increased. The authority was loosen, the order was disrupted and the people of Chile started to commit those crimes more.

It is said that the police don’t want to intervene to theft and purse snatching cases. It became an ordinary thing. It is said that they do not take the crimes seriously except stabbing, wounding and armed crimes and they do not take care of the victims.
