Narrated Mu’adh ibn Jabal:

The Prophet (pbuh) said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem (Beit al-Maqdis) will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist) comes forth. He (the Prophet) struck his thigh or his shoulder with his hand and said: This is as true as you are here or as you are sitting (meaning Mu’adh ibn Jabal).

The Real Masjid Al-Aqsa

Beit al-Maqdis means Masjid Al-Aqsa and flourish means to revitalize, to restore, to inhabit a place.

Flourishing means to remake a place and to beautify a place and to increase its visitors.

And Yathrib is the former name of the Al Madinah Al Munnawarah.

Then, taking everything I have told into consideration, we can understand these from this hadith:

Masjid Al-Aqsa which is the first qiblah of the muslims will be emerged in Istanbul which is mentioned in the hadiths, where Hz. Mahdi will emerge and is the real Quds in the time of Hz. Mahdi, in fact, in the beginning of the time of Hz. Mahdi… It will be in the plain sight of the entire world humanity, it will open to visitors and will be revitalized, it will be a constantly visited place that will be developed.

It is Yathrib which is ruined that means Al Madinah Al Munnawarah will be ruined. It will not attract attention as it used to do, it will remain in the background and will be pale in comparison to the real Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Al Madinah Al Munnawarah will not be visited and will not attract attention as it used to be after Hz. Mahdi will bring out the real Masjid Al-Aqsa, will reconstruct it in Istanbul and open it to the visitors.

The steps that Hz. Mahdi will take during that time will cause changes and tension in religious, political and military balances.

After a while, the enemies of islam won’t be able to tolerate the process continue this way. They will carry out a massive and organized attack. This will probably be the last crusade in the world history. This will cause the break out of the big war which is Armageddon. Hz. Mahdi will be the leader of the muslims during the time at the war. Istanbul will be truly conquested for the first time when the muslims will win this war and for the first time in thousands of years, Istanbul will come under the control of the muslims again.

Dajjal who has established a world order based on disbelief and oppression by hiding himself will lose Istanbul completely that he uses as the center of his system. He won’t be able to stand back and will come out at this time. He will take his last chance.

But at that time, Hz. Isa will be returned to the world, subjected to the political control of Hz. Mahdi, will be prayed behind Hz. Mahdi in Masjid Al-Aqsa. He will not be a political leader but a spiritual leader and he will support Hz. Mahdi. Hz. Mahdi and Hz. Isa will kill Dajjal together. During the time, they will destroy the center of black money, satanism, terrorism, exploitation, sorcery, organ and human trafficking called Rome/Vatican. Even Rome will come under control of Istanbul.
